"Both of our bar venues serve big flavour food & drinks, in a botanical themed setting.

Our Birkdale bar and restaurant serves a large variety of customers, from families on day trips to more of our regulars. Our Northern Quarter site has as expected - lots of young hipsters and has more of a bar feel.

Before ServedUp, we had a tablet that connected to a standard EPOS system, which was a much slower process. "


Why we decided to switch to ServedUp

"I’ve wanted to bring in an order to table solution for a while, even pre-Covid. I had a trip to America a couple of years ago, and they were using QR codes in lots of bars and restaurants and I thought it was great, but there was nothing like it here in the UK at the time, and I wasn’t sure if customers would be ready for the change.

I already had a relationship with the ServedUp team following the Diageo hand sanitiser units, so when they mentioned they were launching an order-to-table system, I jumped at the chance to have a demo!"
